Jacobs Transport is een Genks middelgroot transportbedrijf in volle groei. 100 chauffeurs en een klein hecht team van collega’s op kantoor vormen de basis van ons familiebedrijf. We zijn voornamelijk actief in de Benelux, Duitsland en Noord-Frankrijk en dat in een straal van 400 km rond Genk. De vlakke structuur en korte communicatielijnen zorgen voor grote betrokkenheid en inspraak op de werkvloer. Doorgroeimogelijkheden zijn daarom ook troef. Informatie over de job:

Arriving at the destination, you smile at the customer. You unload your cargo. You made a customer happy today! It is always nice to receive appreciation for your work! After respecting the driving and resting times, you get back on the road. On the go, you already meet a colleague, you enthusiastically wave at each other, it’s always nice to see a familiar face on the road. Depending on your destination, you either drive home in the evening or you are still on the road.

Wat we van je verwachten

  • You are an experienced truck driver with a CE driving license.
  • You are flexible and realize that in the transport sector you know when you start, but due to numerous factors you do not always know when the day exactly ends.
  • You are prepared to spend several nights a week or even the whole week away from home by mutual agreement
  • You respect the driving and resting times and traffic rules.
  • The possession of an ADR certificate is a plus but certainly not a requirement.
  • You are collegial, have attention for safety and therefore sense of responsibility.
  • You are responsible for the order and cleanliness of the truck.
  • You work in a safe and environmentally conscious manner.
  • You speak Dutch.

Wat wij je bieden

You will be doing national and international transports with containers and (tank) trailers. We offer you training in eco-driving (code 95) so that you can make the most efficient journeys possible every day. You will learn how to do this, using the latest technologies, in perfectly equipped and maintained trucks.
