Genk-based transport company Jacobs continues its growth story. The fleet was expanded with ten new MAN trucks. Another order for ten new MAN trucks has been placed for early 2022.
The MAN has a Euro6 diesel engine. “We are following the further developments in the market and in this regard we are already looking in particular at the hydrogen-based engine,” Gielen indicates. “We have placed another order for ten new MAN trucks for the beginning of next year. Then we will gradually reach a hundred trucks. In this way, we are continuing our growth story at Jacobs.” Duos Jacobs recently carried out a reorganization of its operations. “We created duos of customer operations officers and our planners. he former are the central point of contact to fully relieve the client and the planners are in contact with our growing number of drivers. We also made
an additional recruitment for this operation,” Gielen concludes.
