The A. of our official company name Jacobs A. Transport stands for Albert Jacobs, the founder of Jacobs Transport. Together with his 3 sons, they set up the base at Kuilenbroekstraat in Genk.

Albert Jacobs started the transport company Jacobs A. Transport in 1934. He started with goods transport and removals. The daily management of the company was passed on to his 3 sons, they formed the basis of the growth story.
A search for a larger location, as lack of space takes over.
Jacobs moves to its current location with a convenient location at Zuiderring 28 in Genk.
Via a management buyout of the entire shares by Francis Paulussen & Bart Tilmans.
They quickly managed to expand the company into a major success with coaches and trucks.

Here we are achieving an immense growth story with an increase of 15% per year.
